A Level Triumphs at The John Roan School: Another Year of Stellar Academic Achievements

Outstanding Results:

A-Levels Students Secure High-Quality University Places.

The school has continued its tradition of excellence, with students securing places at some of the UK's most prestigious universities, including Cambridge and other members of the esteemed Russell Group.

High-Level Passes Shine Through 

This year, the school proudly reports that nearly half (46%) of all A-level entries earned higher-level passes, ranging from A* to B grades. Furthermore, an outstanding 76% of students achieved grades between A* to C, indicating a promising future for the young graduates.

The Pinnacle of Success: Standout Students 

Isabella: Achieved two A*s and an A, paving her way to the University of Cambridge, Newnham College, to study History and Politics.

Aeden: With straight A*s, he's set to study Physics at Imperial College London.

Abya: Gained two A*s and an A and is headed to the University of Manchester to pursue a degree in Medicine.

Caspar: Secured two As and an A and will be attending the London School of Economics and Political Science to study Politics and History.

Dontai: Earned straight A grades, landing him a spot at the University of Exeter to study Economics and History.

Jude: Awarded an A* and two As will proceed to the University of Manchester to specialize in History and Politics.

Stanislav: Despite arriving in the UK just in Year 11, secured straight A grades and will be attending the University of Warwick to study Mechanical Engineering.

Milo: Achieved two As and a B and has locked in his place at the University of Bristol to study Geography.

Max and Luke: Both have earned spots at the University of the Arts London to explore their passion for Photography.

Words of Gratitude and Future Aspirations 

During the celebration, students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the guidance they received throughout the journey. Isabella extended “a big thank you” to the Head of Sixth Form, Miss Porter, capturing her excitement about her forthcoming Cambridge journey. Aeden, upon securing his flawless A* grades, commented, "The unwavering support and dedication from our teachers played a crucial role in these achievements."
