Homework Diary
At The John Roan School, we believe homework plays a vital role in providing an excellent education for all our students, bringing out the best in them and fostering independent learning.
- Each Year 7 student will only have one piece of homework due in at 3:10 each day (Monday-Friday).
- Excluding Art, Design Technology and Food Technology, all homework will either be set on Sparx, Sparx Reader or Seneca.
- Art, Design Technology and Food Technology homework will be set as usual on Show My Homework and handed in during lesson time.
- Excluding these three subjects, homework will no longer be set on Show My Homework.
- Students will need to use the Homework Diary to find out what homework is due in each day. They will then need to go directly to Sparx, Sparx Reader or Seneca to complete this.
