Why choose The John Roan Sixth Form?

The John Roan Sixth Form is based at our Maze Hill site, a beautiful 1920s building overlooking Greenwich Park, where over 200 students are working towards A-Levels and Level 3 BTEC qualifications.

We are a deliberately smaller Sixth Form, which allows us to have a focus on each of our students as individuals. Our overarching focus is to get our Sixth Form students to the destination of their dreams, whether that be university, an apprenticeship or in a workplace. Each of our students should leave us set up for success when they get there. We do this by providing an environment that challenges all students to reach their full potential.

In 2025, over 75% of The John Roan Secondary school students continued their education at our Sixth Form.

Our Sixth Formers dress smartly and are role models for the rest of the school community, showcasing our values of determination, excellence and respect.

Over the last three years, our Sixth Form has gone from strength to strength: the number of students enrolling with us has more than doubled and our students also have increasing ambition:

We welcome students from across London. Join our safe, happy and respectful community where everyone’s voice is heard.
