Independent Practice! ✍️
Independent practice is a vital part of every lesson. This is when students work individually and in silence to apply what they have learned.
Teachers use this time to circulate, provide one-to-one support, and offer live marking and verbal feedback. Everybody writes during this phase, ensuring all learners can practise, refine, and demonstrate their understanding. This helps students build independence and take ownership of their progress.
