Curriculum Intent Statement

To encourage students to adopt an adventurous, enquiring and risk taking approach to Textiles Design  involving  the creation, selection, manipulation and application of a range of materials such as fibres, yarns and fabrics, along with processes such as weaving, knitting, stitching, bonding, felting and printing to create a wide range of designs and products. To enable students to understand how textile designers work in multi-disciplinary ways to create ideas, materials and techniques for different applications.
